Sue Rees

Sue Rees is a set designer, animator and filmmaker. She has worked with numerous directors, choreographers, and composers, in the United States, Europe and India. She has been nominated for a 2005 Hewes Design Award and received a “BESSIE” for her Creach/Company scenic design. An ongoing collaboration for more than ten years with the Kattaikkuttu Theatre from Kanchipuram, India started when on a Fulbright Senior Research Grant and has involved documentation, as well as designing animations for their productions. She teaches Animation and Set Design at Bennington College, USA. Her work can be viewed on www.suerees.org, YouTube and vimeo.
