I think my graphic style owes something to the streets of the Lower East Side and the South Bronx. But it also owes something to Fritz Lange, HG Wells and Busby Berkeley, not to mention all the cheesey Hollywood technicolor special effects and sci-fi movies they inspired. I like flashy clothes, loud music, (particularly Blues) and twisted humor. Like a canary I’m drawn to bright colors, shiny objects, blinking lights and movement. I have a short attention span, but I’m also capable from time to time of a disturbing degree of focus and obsession. I don’t subscribe to any particular religion, but then apparently, neither does God. Don’t worry. Be happy. When you paint yourself into a corner, leave beautiful footprints everywhere.
