Bors’s art is based on the dysfunctional and schizophrenic identity that results from a contemporary society preoccupied by television and pop culture, as well as specific instances of mass media and underground culture. Often focusing on obsessive personality traits while throwing in autobiographical references for good measure, his work is intentionally ambiguous. He employ a variety of media including painting, video and digital collage, and describes the practice of taking images and videos from the web as virtual dumpster diving.
