Claire Harvey

In the work that I make, I tend to choose not the medium first but instead allowing an idea to be followed and given space through which its form may then be found; an oil on canvas, a photograph, an image painted upon everyday materials such as post-it notes, transparencies and tape.

I’m interested in the construction of micro narratives and how they provide portals through which we can peer into a complex world.
